I know she will become a very special veteran's very special service dog. She is smart as a whip even though she is the runt of the litter (at this point.) She loves to be 2-legged -- she is always jumping up on the fence. We have all loved her photographs and have enjoyed watching her antics with her siblings. Worried too about her health when she and Grace were sick.
I wish her the very best in life and thank her for having brought so much joy to mine. I wish all who will care for this dog many, many happy times with her. She is such a joy.

We love our Abby, so let's show her new family just how much we do!
Abby, I just adore that thing you do with your head!
ReplyDeleteOh my sweet little Abby! You and your siblings have brought such joy and happiness to us all! I know one day soon you will bring even more joy and love to one of our special veterans. We love you sweet girl!
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great idea, thanks for doing it. I will miss each and everyone of these pups so darn much, guess you can tell I don't lead a real exciting life, LOL I have my screen on this all day at my desk at work and I look at it lots and lots, I can honestly say I would probably get fired if my boss knew how much time I actually spend looking at it, so addicting!!! They just weasel themselves into your heart so quickly!
ReplyDeleteI can so totally relate to your comment. I have my computer split screened so I can do my work on one side and keep my eye on the babies on the other. I started watching when they were 4 weeks old and as you said watching them is addicting. I have never experienced a puppy litter from the very beginning. I learned so much from this experience. I will truly miss all of them. I am sure we will all suffer withdrawal pains. LOL. God bless WCC and all it stands for. God bless our vets!!
DeleteHello our precious little peanut! While we are all very sad that you're the first baby bird out of the nest, we know that you have the heart of a champion and the ferocity of a lion. I had my own fears about your petite size in the beginning. But during my visit last week all such fears were laid aside. There you were always joining the fray and making sure you were right there in the action at all times - even taking on your big brother. But you also took time out to pose for the camera and show us your inner beauty queen. We love you munchkin! Best of luck in your new adventure! <3 <3
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what to say here! I too have been watching these beautiful babies since they were about six weeks old and will miss each and every one of them dearly! Abby - you are a very special young lady to be leaving the group first and I know you will be our hero and hope we will be able to stay updated on your progress and growth! Love you lots,
ReplyDelete:-))
Abby's departure is so bittersweet. From the beginning when I started watching the puppies I was immediately drawn to Abby. That little tilt of her head, and so inquisitive. She will make her breeders proud and make a great companion for a wounded soldier. Such a sweet darling little girl. I wish you well sweet little Abby. You will be dearly missed.
ReplyDeleteSuch precious puppies with such an amazing purpose! What a wonderful experience it's been getting to know them, all the wonderful people at WCC and all the amazing EPW's!! Abby...so sweet. She may be the littlest of the bunch but she's got a big personality!!! My favorite Abby memory has to be from our WCC visit. The pups were running free in the yard with the big dogs and we were getting ready to leave. My daughter wanted her picture with one of the pups so she looked down and there was Abby. She picked her up and was immediately covered in puppy kisses! Just precious. Best of luck, sweet Abby...you are destined for a wonderful life of service to our heroes!!
ReplyDeleteAw Sweet Abby!! All the precious memories from watching you grow from such a teeny thing into such a beautiful, regal beauty queen. That precious pose with the tilt of the head. And yet, you can set that imaginary crown aside, throw off that imaginary glitzy gown and get down and dirty with your sisters and brother. You can hold your own in any game or wrestling match and immediately climb back to the top of your slide or the top of your little black crate and cast an eye about your royal quarters. The sweetness when you curl up next to one of your siblings just tugs at my heart strings.
ReplyDeleteI know you will do us all proud Sweet Abby. You are destined to bring so much happiness and joy to those warriors who have sacrificed so much for us. Although we are sad to see you leave our little nest, we present you with pride and joy to fulfill your role in service to others where you will be loved and adored as you have been in these nine short weeks of your life. God bless you Sweet Abby and the warrior you will serve!!
Sweet sweet Abby-whoever is getting you is getting a gift and a blessing. The joy you will share is beyond anything they can imagine. As I have watched from your birth it has made my heart feel good to know what a special mission you and your sister's and brother have in this world. To Abby's future trainers and eventual owner-never forget she will always love you unconditionally and in her eyes you are without fault!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't say it better myself! Good luck Abby and congratulations to her future parents, trainers and eventual veteran owner.
DeleteYou are our sweet girl, Abby. Everyone knows that. I fell in love with you, your sisters, and your brother just watching you for the last seven weeks. I was not a dog person, and just become a cat person 5 years ago. I am now SO hooked on you and your siblings and I am making up for lost time. When I heard you were leaving, tears poured down my cheeks. I was heartbroken for me. I selfishly wanted you to stay. But this isn't about me or the other EPWs. It is about you. We know what is ahead of you. I am so happy for you, the lead you are taking for your sibs, knowing your next family will just melt when you arrive, thinking of the amazing work you will do. My, a big job for a little puppy. And you, dear Abby, are up for the task or else Molly and Rick wouldn't have chosen for this prestigious position. The things you will learn, the veterans you will help mend, the people you will encounter. What a world awaits you. You are a curious little girl, I can see you now, up on your hind legs trying to get a better look or cocking your head and thinking, “What do they want me to do? Oh, I can do that.” You are made for greatness and you will so succeed. I love you, Abby girl and I will miss you.
ReplyDeleteI have been watching these precious puppies since the beginning. Such a joy to watch them blossom. They all have a very special purpose in their lives.
ReplyDeleteLittle Abby has been a favorite of mine. We, as a family, tend to always pick the littlest ones of any litter. Here is hoping that she will outshine and exceed all that is expect of her.
To all the great Warriors out there, thank you all for your service.
You are in all our hearts and minds.
Pam in Illinois
Abby, you have been a treasure and a jewel to watch. You have already brought such love and happiness to so many lives in your few short weeks. We know you are a brave little lady and have a huge heart and are so smart. To all the Warriors, especially the one who Abby will be with, please know she is so special and we want to thank you all for your service.
ReplyDeleteI knew the day would come when the puppies would start leaving, but oh how sad I will be. I have watched them since the beginning and they have brought untold joy to me.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to all of the warriors who will get one of these sweet dogs!
ABBY.... A Beautiful Baby You....ABBY
ReplyDeleteI have been watching right from the start of the camera through a typo in searching on the web.....what a pleasure for me...weeks and weeks of watching you with your yellow wavy ribbon collar. So tiny,so small, so loved by all.....THANK-you !! x
I've been with you sweet Abby since the start. You don't know me. I live in Oregon. But I have watched you grow each day into a very special, smart, sweet and loving young dog. I cannot have a dog where I live. I have had animals all my life and you have filled a hole in my heart. You are going to make your new family so proud. And as my eyes well up with tears knowing that you are leaving and I might not see you again, I send with you my love and prayers for a beautiful life full of love and happiness.
ReplyDeleteI've watched Abby & all the pups almost since they were born. She has provided so much laughter and healing for me. Please watch over her and give her the most loving you can find in your heart. To her final Warrior, know that she will give back your love a million-fold. You have been loved by so many, dear Abby. You helped me get through the pain of losing my favored pet and I cannot thank you enough.
ReplyDeleteDarling Abby, you have brought all of us such joy & will continue to bring that joy throughout your life. We were the first to love you & will miss you terribly. God Bless You Abby !!!
ReplyDeleteSweet, petite Abby. It has been such a joy to watch you grow. You are one beautiful little girl. Thank you for bringing such joy to my days with your little head tilts and wonderful personality. You are going to do wonderful things in this new adventure of yours. Be well, little Abby. Take all our love with you.
ReplyDeleteGood things come in small packages!!! The person who gets Abby is going to find that out, for sure!! Good luck to you, brave little one. I hope you have an amazing life out there. We will miss seeing you each day, but hope to be able to follow your progress and see pictures of you as you go on this journey.
ReplyDeleteHugs and kisses,
From Grandpups4me
Abby, my sweet sweet Abs. Will miss your adorable smile and your wonderfully cute photo ops. Your small size did not deter you from holding your own in wrestling matches with your bigger sibs. You have courage and confidence. I am so proud of you and you will make someone who needs you far more than I do, very happy.
ReplyDeleteAbby....we pray you get lots of love and crates to perch on top of and many things to climb on. Abby seemed to enjoy being elevated above the ground. Soon, you will be too big to climb in your owners lap so I hope they let you up on the couch!
ReplyDeleteOh my dear sweet Abby, I have been dreading the day you leave us but have always thought you would be wonderful at your new purpose in life. Your demeaner and poise has always reminded me of my Kaia. She is a 12 year old golden and is so very sweet and smart. She, as I'm sure you will with your future Vet, has always been there for me. She senses all my needs.
ReplyDeleteGood luck dear Abby! I know in my heart you will make us all so very proud!
New puppy parents, know that you are blessed to have Abby in your life for however long it is needed. We all hope that you will keep us all informed about her progress (keep in mind that we are so very attached to her).
Love, hugs, kisses to you sweet girl. You will be increadibly missed!
Sweet Abby, we're going to miss you so much!
ReplyDeleteBut, it's not about what all of us viewers are giving up,
it's ALL about what YOU are giving!!
God bless you!
LDMom
Abby, you are a very special pup, raised for an important mission, and I know you are up to the task. I've always said, "Never underestimate the little ones." You be a good girl and learn everything. I've watched you since you were only 11 days old, a little, potatoey ball of fur and seen you grow into an intelligent, inquisitive little dog. It's been a joy to watch you and your siblings grow up. Now it's the time we all dreaded, but are grateful for. I wish you well with your training family and with your new veteran mama or papa. Serve him or her well.
ReplyDeleteAbby- Someone had to be the first to go and I guess you are the lucky one. Thank you for always brightening by day these last few weeks. Good luck in your new home. Be safe, be happy, and do what you were born to do!
ReplyDeleteYou are beautiful and loving and I wish you a good life. I won't ever forget you as I have individual photos of you and your litter mates. Watching you on the webcam since Week I has enriched my life more than words can say. Fair winds, little one.
ReplyDeleteSomeone prayed and you are coming. Now more prayers are being heard and your sister's and brother are going too!!! You are all now going to be "Guardian Angels" to special people. You came from a "spark" of unconditional love and now you will be able to light up the darkest moments these special people have had to endure. Thank you all involved sharing yourselves and your "Little Warriors" with us...God Bless you all!!!
ReplyDeletePrecious little Abby, you will never know how many people you have already helped heal. The number is great. And your mission continues! You truly are an angel!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I have been watching you pups from the first day the camera came on.We have looked in on you every day and watched you all grow into beautiful babies. We have saved all your pictures. We will miss all of you as you start on your special journey... God Bless you all!!
ReplyDeleteDear Puppy Parents,
ReplyDeleteAs you can see you now have (for a short time) a precious little one Abby that has already healed and touched many peoples lives.
Many of us have watched these little ones grow and learn while learning each day something new from them & Molly.
Please watch over Abby, love her and kiss her each night letting her know there are so many that love her.
You may be the smallest, Abby, but your heart is as big as the world. How I'm going to miss watching you stand up to your brother and sisters, go off on your own to ponder things, play tug with anything that tugs back, and sleep so soundly that it seemed nothing could wake you up. You're about to start the adventure of a lifetime ... I know you'll give all the love that's in you to give and my biggest hope is that that love will be returned to you ten fold. Go with God sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteGreat things come in small packages. Abby you are going to make a wounded soldier a wonderful companion. I have watched the puppies over the weeks and you have a special spark.
ReplyDeleteGood luck in the next endeavors you will embark on.

Dearest little Abby the first to go out to the big world by yourself...all the happy moments you have brought puppy watchers will now be given to those who truly deserve you love. Your end mission will be to love the Warrior you will be with just as much as she/he will love you.......
ReplyDeleteDear Abby, along with being a guardian angel. You have many guardian angels, the people who have watched you grow the EPW's, the Puppy Petters, Molly, Rick and Mia, and anyone I forgot - countless people are praying and wishing that you will do well, that you will learn well, that you will lavish love on your Warrior and serve him/her as we know you can. We will never forget you no matter how many puppies come after you and we will pray and wish for you ever after. Do well, little girl. We love you. We have be come a community while watching you grow and we will support each other as you leave us. She's your little girl now, Respected Warrior. Take care of her, allow her to assist you and above all love Abby as she loves you.
ReplyDeleteSweet, little Abby ... #1 ... You might be petite, but you certainly pack a punch! Probably the most photographic of the bunch, with that head tilt thing that ya do! You are destined for great things and your new family will be blessed to have you. We send you off on your big adventure with much love and great pride. I love you, lil wee one!
ReplyDeleteOh Abby, such a sweet little girl. Christmas is going to come early for your foster family and your new "forever" family. It has been so entertaining and heart warming watching you and your siblings grow up. Dog Bless, Abby.
ReplyDeleteDear little Abby,
ReplyDeleteWe all knew you wouldn't stay a puppy forever! Now that you're leaving to start a new Big Adventure I pray that you will stay spunky and smart and I know that you will bring buckets of joy everywhere you prance. In our minds, you will always be the little pup with the head tilt and the adorable face, even when you grow up and go out in the world to be with your special soldier. He or she is waiting for you right now, so learn well and quickly, and spread the love!
Abby, your sweet little face and gentle ways will be missed by so many people around the country and around the world who have been watching you grow. I will miss that head tilt, too! I am sure that there is a wonderful home waiting for you, that you will excel at learning all you will need to know, and will be a wonderful friend and helper for a brave soldier who will appreciate you. Much love…...
ReplyDeleteWill miss you Abby. You carry with you our love and respect for the soldier you will be helping. I will think of you and pray for you often. WTG little Abby-- Good Dog--you will do a wonderful job someday.
ReplyDeleteAbby, I wonder if yellow will be your favorite color? Your wounded warrior should know that we identified you by the color yellow, in case it is your favorite. Are dogs color blind? I don't know a lot about dogs but I sure do love them. You are a beautiful puppy and I know you will be a beautiful dog like your Mom Holly. Looking at your pictures gave me a lot of joy. No fear, just curiosity. Don't worry about being small. A small Golden is still big to most other dogs! I also love your name because it is cute and pert like you. Best wishes Abby. Love, Marilyn
ReplyDeleteAbby, a quantum angel.
ReplyDeleteThough your size may be small,
It is known the power of the quantum
And your power has touched many.
The power of your gentle love
Is able to penetrate those walls
Some wounded warriors put up to
Keep others out. They are so wounded
A large force could crush them.
What they need is that gentle soul to
Come along and allow there to be a
meeting of souls.
Abby, you are that soul.
You have brought healing, joy, love
and yes, tears, to so many of us.
Such is your power!
You are a mighty spirit
With a most powerful gift
The Abby head turn is one of your trademarks.
It is not only cuteness beyond words,
For me it expresses a curiosity to understand.
Whether it be a noise, a sight, or perhaps
Whether it is a look of sadness, a tear upon a cheek.
Abby, you would be there in a flash to lick that tear away,
To ease the pain and sadness in each and every one of us.
You only wish to serve; to please; and yes, you love to play,
But more than anything, you wish to bond and be close.
I shall miss you and your face; your antics; that tongue hanging out
in your 9 week old picture, and yet,
I am so excited for you and all those you are going to touch.
You have taught me that sadness is a way to open my heart even more.
The tears I cry are more for me than you because I know you are
Going to be so loved.
What is it about a gentle soul that reaches so deep and pulls out so much?
What is it about a fur ball such as you that comforts one just by looking?
Perhaps you reflect that innocent gentleness we all possess and lose touch
With as we grow older.
And now I see your head turn and that look on your face. I can almost hear you thinking,
“What are all those thoughts? I am just being me. I just love in the moment seeing you in all of your glory. I am not here to judge. I am not here to intellectualize. I am here to love. I am here to serve. I am here now. It is not yesterday or tomorrow but only now. So let’s tug of war then rub my belly and forget your troubles… for now they are only in your head and there is nothing a good belly rub on my won’t help!! WOOF! ROO! ROO!”
Abby, you have shown me a love so deep I never thought it possible.
A love so deep,
I feel it is inevitable.
I love you dear angel.
Love,
Athena Friedman

This is beautiful, Athena. So moving and so true. Thank you.
DeleteSo beautiful, Athena. Thank you so much. -Kat
DeleteAthena, most touching of all. couldn't even come close to saying it so eloquently. You said, what we feel. God bless these pups on their mission to heal!
DeleteIluvdogs :)
Athena, I could feel your sincerity with every word. Very appropriate from many of us.
DeleteSweet, little Abby. You have brought such joy and laughter into our lives and don't even know it. As you move forward you are destined to be great and very much loved. You will always be a part of my heart and I will always remember this time in my life. I can only hope you have felt the love that has been poured over you all as we've watched you grow. I can only imagine the things that you will accomplish in your life and I am bursting with pride and joy. klmhicks
ReplyDeleteGod Speed on your journey Miss Abby! Although we will miss you something awful, you will be doing the work you were born to do. You are all vey special pups and have brought such joy to sooooo many people around the world in your 10 weeks of life. We who loved you first will love you always. You remind me so much of my Abbey girl. You both have that sweet tilt of the head and don't let the bigger dogs boss you around. She does not have as important of a job as you will, but she is a pet therapy dog that visits nursing homes.
ReplyDeleteTake care sweet Abby and make us proud! (We know you will!)
Sweet Abby! To your future with your new family & all the hearts that you will touch with your warm demeanor and precious face... You will be missed here in our little world but I know you will spread joy to soooo many. You are an angel! Best of luck to you!
ReplyDeleteI am an extremely quiet EPW. I have never commented before but have watched all the puppies since they were two days old. When I learned sweet Abby was leaving, my heart sunk… she is secretly my favorite – well, except for maybe Lucy… or Grace… or Levi… or Ruby… or Penny They each possess something special, but you Abby girl, with your irresistible head tilt, made me melt. I remember when you were yellow girl, the tiniest of the litter but turned out to have a huge personality. Then you were given the beautiful name of Abby, and it fit you perfectly. You are the little peanut of the group, and I will be heartbroken to see you leave, but you and your litter mates have brought me so much joy, and for that I am grateful. I know you are going on to do amazing things for people that need you. I will miss Dear Abby, and look forward to updates through your life.

ReplyDeleteI've put alot of thought into what I want to say to your trainers and your soldier. You were the runt! But that made you special in my heart. Just having had to euthanize my 2 last dogs months ago was extremely hard on us, before that my dear husband passsed away. You and your siblings brought some life back into this old broad's life (as my husband would say)! My Cocker "Boo" was also the runt in her littler..She was your color with some white and looked like you at your age now.. She brought soooo much love into our home and hearts.
I found you precious somehow, over about a week I watched your feeding from your momma Holly, laughed at your clumbsy escapades. Before long I was giving my daughter and grandson a action packed account laughing hysterically out loud..This feeling, this love,is what you will pass onto your soldier. When I found out you were leaving I became sad again, so I went to a soldier site and the wounded warriors who I worked so hard for til my retirement brought me back to reality, the way it's supposed to be. Your soldier needs you baby. I will always remember our visit to momma Molly's house. What a good momma she is. We played, we laughed..We will always remember..I wish you tons of love and kisses and know you will work hard for your lucky soldier. .I'll never forget the joy you all brought back into our home..xoxoxoxo always..BrendaS
Little Abby,
ReplyDeleteYou have been the littlest angel in this group of angels. From the beginning, I watched you as you tried not to get caught up in the wrestling matching and the rough and tumble battles of your siblings. Each picture that Molly and the gang posted of you just got more and more precious. I loved how you would sometimes wait until a sibling was napping and sneak up and bite their ear or tail and then run and hide. Another sibling would get the blame as you sat innocently in the corner or under the slide. You have shown that size does not matter, your heart is a big as all the other puppies and that cute face of yours can melt any heart. You and your siblings came into my life at a time when I was suffering such a saddness from the death of my sweet Mr. Mobywanknoby. He was my joy and my best friend. His loss hit me hard and them 6 little angels grabbed my heart strings and pulled it back together. You may be the smallest, but you pulled those heart strings quite hard. I love you Abby. I hope and pray that the Warrior who is given the wonderful gift of your special love will know just how special they are. To be loved and served by little miss Abby is an amazing gift! May God bless you, Abby on your journey along with your Warrior. We will miss your sweet little face but you will remain in our hearts forever!
Oh sweet Abby. I am so sad that you are leaving. I have watched you grow up so very fast. You may be the little one, but you are also the mighty one. The one with the most adorable head tilt EVER. And you are sooooo funny! I loved watching you with your sibs and although you are so sweet, you are also so frisky! You could really hold your own despite your tiny stature. You are moving on to big things my dear and I am proud to see you serve your country. I just know that your soldier will adore you just as much as all of us do. Bless you sweet Abby. I love you. Kim
ReplyDeleteMost of her pictures show her with her little head tilted as if she is trying her best to figure out the situation & please you. This very intelligent, sweet, girl has the ability to be one of the best service dogs. The puppy parents that raise Abby are so fortunate to have her. Give her lots of love & attention so she can fulfill her potential.
ReplyDeleteOur littlest angel, Abby! She may be smaller than her siblings, but her spirit is huge...so big it shines right through that thick puppy fur. She watches and thinks, and tilts her head...her little halo slips over one eye...but then she KNOWS! She is so ready to learn how to help you, to serve you. She doesn't need to be taught to love you! You who receive her into your homes are truly blessed!
ReplyDeleteLinda McCormick in Ontario
Dear little Abby. You were the first one I fell in love with. There is something about your little ears. They are a little redder then the rest of your furry body. In the beginning, you seemed more reserved then your siblings. But you soon learned to give Lucy a run for her money, and I've seen you seek up on Levi while he was asleep and pounce on him. I'm not surprised you were the first to be selected to venture out of Molly's protection. You have so much to learn, love and give. Bless you little pup.
ReplyDeleteLittle Abby, You are such a precious girl. I have been watching you and your siblings for several weeks and have grown to love each one of you as if your were my own. You have filled my heart with joy and a smile each day. I have loved watching you play, sleep, and grow. I pray you will have a wonderful and blessed life and touch everyone's heart you meet, as much as you have mine. I will never forget you or your siblings. God bless you always.
ReplyDeleteLittle Abby
ReplyDeleteSome viewers early on had concerns about you since you are one of the smaller pups. Well, I never did because I saw that you can hold your own even against Levi! You give as well as you get. You were also the first pup to snarl & snap at another when you got a new chew stick telling them "This is MINE, not yours!" I gave a little cheer & said way to go Abby.
You were the FIRST to be chosen for training & that says a lot about what you're capable of. Yes, Abby, you'll do just fine & make us all proud.
Dog Bless You

Oh, sweet little Abby. My, how many hearts you have touched. You may be small in size, buy you are huge in fun.
ReplyDeleteYou will be going to a new adventure now. One that will help another person out. And, one who will love you with all of their heart, as you will love that person. He will be your Hero, and you will be his. And, all of ours.
With much love, affection and admiration!

Abby - As tears run down my face while typing I will try to be brief.
ReplyDeleteMama Holly & Mama Molly have done a great job in raising you and you brother & sisters for your first 10 weeks, you are so lucky to be the first one chosen to leave the "nest" and go on to bigger and better things.
I mill miss you so much , but I know in my heart that you will be a fast learner an will give lots of love to the family tht will train you and the future service person you will help.
My plan is to see you at your "graduation".
Wishing nothing but Love & Success to your future Puppy Parent Trainers.
One of the EPW's who never did get to meet you in person but LOVED you throught he camera. (Holleylover)
Dear Little Abby: It's been such a joy watching you the first 10 weeks of your precious life. You had such fun romping with your sisters and brother, Levi - playing on the slide, playing in the pool, laying on the ice cube or taking down one of the chairs. You will go on to do great things in your service to our wounded warriors. Abby, Graduation Day is approaching when you will go live with your new family who will be wonderful to you. Mama Holly, along with Molly, Rick and Mia, have prepared you admirably. There's an awful lot of folks who will be cheering for you, and I'm proud to say I'm one of those. Thank you, Abby, for all he joy you brought to many peoples lives. I love you, Abby!!!

Abby is small but she plays hard with her brother and sisters. For her new human family, I hope you will love her as much as we (cam viewers) have (rooting for the little underdog). Please give her many scratches, hugs, and kisses regularly for us.
ReplyDeleteAbby,
ReplyDeleteSweet little Abby the one that stole everyone’s heart. As I write this I am giggling thinking about you with your Brother and Sister’s romping away in the pens. You and Levi having your little show down’s and you coming out on top. You may be small in stature but you make up for it with your vim and vigor. I will never forget you sweet Abby. I know you will do fabulous in your new home, and with your new venture ahead. We will be sending lots of hugs and kisses your way on a daily basis.
Stay strong, mind your manners and do what you do best. Give Love, Love, Love!!
We love you!!

Dear sweet Abby,
ReplyDeleteI am missing you terribly. You've brought so much joy to me from the day you were born. I'll miss that little tilt head thing that you do so well. I was never worried about you, cause you could certainly take care of yourself. You are one in a million. So now my sweet Abby, it is time for you to spread your golden wings and share your joy with our honored veterans. I'll love you always!!!
Thank you all for such wonderful notes to dear Abby. I am her puppy parent and will be taking care of her as she prepares for life as a service dog.

Adorable Abby – I have loved watching you and your siblings since the first day I saw you. I hurt so the day you left to begin the life you were meant for - training to become a service dog for a combat Veteran. I know you will be a great companion to your wounded warrior.
ReplyDeleteReally? 72 comments!?!
ReplyDeleteWell Abby, what's to say that hasn't already been said.
You were the perfect, petite, baby that we loved to watch and felt protective of. But you proved us all fools because you most certainly could hold your own!
I think you and Penny were the best of friends. But, I think you were the favorite of all of your siblings. Gracie broke my heart when you left. All she wanted to do was sleep. She looked so depressed.
Whenever I see a photo of you I think you don't look real, you are so perfect!
You, will be a ruler among your peers. One others will strive to be like.
And I can say "I knew her when".
I have such a wonderful picture of you sleeping in my lap that I will treasure forever.
I look forward to your future as I'm sure it will be amazing and awe inspiring.
All my love,
Harli's-mama
